Pokémon Crystal Version is a role-playing game released by Nintendo in 2000 for the Game Boy Color, and the third entry in the series' second generation. Set in the Johto region, players take on the role of a new trainer, embarking on a journey to collect Gym Badges, take on Gym Leaders, and catch and train Pokémon. This entry marks the series' first optional female protagonist, broadening the player experience. Animated battle scenes have also been added for more lively combat visuals. The legendary Suicune plays an important role, with players tracking and capturing it throughout the journey. Pokémon Crystal introduces the Mystery Gift feature, allowing players to exchange gifts via infrared communication for added interaction. The game supports trading with the previous Gold and Silver versions through link cables. This 20170329 revised edition is a Simplified Chinese localization by the sss888 translation team, fixing various issues in the original and improving stability and playability.
