Chinmoku no Iseki: Estpolis Gaiden is an RPG developed and published by Taito, released on the GBA on March 8, 2002. As a spinoff of the Estpolis (Lufia) franchise, it keeps the series' puzzle-heavy dungeon focus and blends action, RPG and puzzle elements for a rich experience. Players step into the role of a hunter carrying on their father's legacy, with four selectable protagonists each wielding distinct abilities that must be used in combination to solve layered dungeon traps. A "Ancient Dungeon" mode allows up to four players to explore cooperatively online; the dungeons hold powerful foes and rare treasures that can only be claimed through coordinated, high-difficulty runs. The class system spans swordsman, monk, priest, thief, mage and dark mage, with five tiers per class to unlock new abilities via promotion. With its deep content and varied gameplay, it stands as a beloved classic GBA RPG.
