Der Herr der Ringe: Die Gefährten

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is a role-playing game based on J.R.R. Tolkien's novel of the same name, released in 2002 for the Game Boy Color. Faithfully recreating the novel's storyline, players take on the role of Frodo Baggins, embarking on a journey to destroy the One Ring. The top-down perspective lets players explore various regions of Middle-earth, interact with different characters, complete quests, and solve puzzles. The turn-based battle system allows players to grow stronger by leveling up characters, learning new skills, and collecting gear. With polished visuals and atmospheric music, the game successfully brings the novel's fantasy world to a portable console.
