Tokimeki Memorial Pocket: Sports Edition ~Campus Snapshot~ is a romance simulation game released by Konami on February 11, 1999 for the Game Boy. Due to cartridge capacity limits, the game was split into two versions: Culture Edition and Sports Edition. The Sports Edition focuses on athletic clubs and related heroines, adding two original characters: exchange student Patricia McGrath and music-department student Munakata Naomi. The game supports both GBC and GB play, displaying in color on GBC and monochrome on GB. Some key story and confession moments feature voice clips, despite the hardware's audio limitations. A link-cable function lets opponents battle in mini-games or exchange screensavers. Within the hardware's constraints, the Sports Edition successfully captures the core charm of Tokimeki Memorial, delivering a rich gameplay experience.
