Dragon Quest III is an RPG developed and published by Enix (now Square Enix), originally released in Japan in 1988, with a remake later arriving on the Game Boy Color in 2000. Renowned for its rich story, flexible class system, and vast game world, it remains a fan favorite. Players take on the role of a young hero who, carrying on his father's legacy, sets out to defeat the archfiend Baramos. Along the journey, players can recruit companions and choose from various classes such as Warrior, Mage, and Priest, each with its own skills and growth paths. Combat is turn-based, requiring thoughtful party composition and tactics to overcome diverse enemies and challenges. The world is expansive, filled with towns, dungeons, and hidden areas, all rewarding exploration with secret treasures and quests. This Simplified Chinese revised edition localizes the game and polishes the visuals and interface, allowing Chinese-speaking players to fully enjoy its charm. Both newcomers and longtime fans will find plenty to love in this classic entry of the Dragon Quest series.
