! Goemon - New Age Shutsudou!

Goemon: New Age Shutsudou! is a side-scrolling action adventure released by Konami for the Game Boy Advance on February 28, 2002. It keeps the franchise's signature humor, blending action with light puzzles for a cheerful experience. Players pick from two characters, each with unique abilities, and use their skills to clear varied stages. Difficulty stays friendly overall, and level design is a highlight: after stages 1, 3, and 5, boss battles are followed by mech stages and cockpit-style robot combat. The story draws on Japanese folklore, following the sky-robbing thief Goemon as he traces his ancestry while robbing the rich to help the poor. Visuals mix modern and mythological settings, combat is fast and packed with gags, and hidden special items unlock new fighting styles for extra fun and challenge.
