Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy is SQUARE ENIX's flagship Japanese RPG, famed for delivering a brand-new world, story and battle system with every numbered entry. Players inhabit heroes of varied station and era — crystal-guided youths, mercenaries, monarchs — and lead their parties through turn-based or ATB combat to save the world. Job-based character growth, summons and limit techniques, airships, sweeping music and visuals are common strengths, and the series keeps extending the vocabulary of RPGs in both storytelling and gameplay.
