Romance of the Three Kingdoms
Romance of the Three Kingdoms is Koei's flagship historical simulation, transposing the era from the fall of the Han to the Three Kingdoms into strategy, governance and battlefield command. Players take the role of a lord of Wei, Wu, Shu or another faction, develop the cities of the Chinese territory and combine domestic policy, diplomacy and military action to unify the age of chaos. Scenarios built on the abilities of generals and the traits of lands, and the drama of alliances and betrayals, are common strengths — together with online and browser spin-offs, a touchstone of historical strategy with centuries of history.
