Castlevania DX

Castlevania DX is an action-adventure game developed and published by Konami, originally released in 1997 for the PlayStation and later ported to the Game Boy Color (GBC). Renowned for its gorgeous visuals, rich story, and innovative gameplay, it stands as a classic entry in the Castlevania series. Players take on the role of vampire hunter Ritcher Belmont, wielding the legendary Vampire Killer whip as he delves into Count Dracula's castle to battle monsters and ultimately face Dracula himself to save the kidnapped maidens. Combining side-scrolling action with role-playing elements, players explore the castle, collect weapons and items, and enhance their abilities. A variety of hidden elements and branching paths add depth and challenge. Although limited by the GBC hardware, the port retains the spirit of the original and has become a beloved classic among handheld gamers.
