"Kaiketsu Yanchamaru: The Robot Empire's Ambition" is a side-scrolling action game developed by Irem and released for the Game Boy on March 25, 1994. As a sequel in the Yanchamaru series, it continues the storyline and gameplay of its predecessor. After escaping from the Ghost Building Company, Yanchamaru's girlfriend Konna accidentally crashes into an alien spaceship from a robot empire that plans to invade Earth. Determined to thwart the robot empire's ambitions, Yanchamaru takes up his wooden hammer once more for a new adventure. Retaining the series' traditional side-scrolling action with well-designed stages and balanced difficulty, players must control Yanchamaru, use his hammer to defeat enemies, collect items, navigate obstacles, and ultimately defeat the robot empire to save Konna and the Earth.
