Warriors of Fate, known in Japan as Tenchi wo Kurau II: Akagi no Monshou, is a side-scrolling arcade beat-'em-up developed and published by Capcom in 1992, based on the manga by Hiroshi Motomiya. Set during the Three Kingdoms period, players take control of Shu generals Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Huang Zhong, and Wei Yan, fighting through historic battles from Bowang to Red Cliffs. The game supports up to three simultaneous players and features two combat styles: on-foot battles where each character has unique moves, such as Guan Yu's headbutt and Zhang Fei's throws, and mounted combat with greater reach and power but more demanding controls. Strategic touches, like the option to light fire arrows to alter the battlefield in certain stages, add tactical depth. The game was later ported to the PlayStation and Sega Saturn in 1996, released for mobile in 2005, and made available on PSP via the PlayStation Store in 2011.
