The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is an action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy in 1993, and the fourth installment in The Legend of Zelda series. The story takes place on the mysterious Koholint Island, where Link wakes up after a shipwreck and must collect the eight Instruments of the Wind Fish to awaken it and escape. Beloved for its rich story and unique setting, the game was followed by the 1998 Game Boy Color release Link's Awakening DX, which added color graphics and brand-new dungeons. In 2019, Nintendo published a complete Nintendo Switch remake featuring clay-style 3D visuals, preserving the original's top-down perspective while adding a built-in dungeon editor and other new features.
